We’re in need of some fun models who love to be in front of the camera and who want a complimentary session. We have some new equipment and ideas we’d love to try out and need some models. Sessions will be conducted in the evenings. We’re happy to consider any age, but are especially looking for 6 month old babies who can sit well and 7-12 year old boys. I am so happy to be this sweet little guy’s photographer for the next year and can’t wait to see him hit those amazing milestones as he grows. He is such a cutie and his parents are so adoring and in love with him.

I was digging through some old files for a client image and when I pulled it out the little girl’s curls reminded me of my little girl’s baby hair. So later I had to go digging through my personal image files and I found this one from just over a year ago of my little Bella. She was only 2 at the time and still had her sweet baby curls…which disappeared by the end of last summer. Why is that those baby curls have to fade? I just love them! We had her hair trimmed for the first time in December (the curls were long gone) and she had her first REAL haircut just a couple weeks ago.  Seeing her again with those adorable little curls just makes me sigh. They grow up so fast-way too fast.

Just a quick post today since my to do list is a mile long. I had so much fun working with this little lady, she was full of life, exactly how I love kids to be! And she was reading the Boxcar Children…I remember reading that when I was her age.

I was able to shoot this sweet little guy just before I left for Australia and he was such a fun guy to photograph. His mom and dad brought him in to me within a couple days of bringing him home from the hospital where he had been born 8 weeks early. I love it when parents bring the babies in as soon as they can, they photograph so well when they are still sleepy and bend into all of those newborn poses. He was such a sweet, tiny little guy.

I can’t believe the fun I had with this shoot. I’m in Australia staying with Ainslie while Ali Hohn is here teaching and I am so thrilled with what I’m able to shoot now.

This mom was beyond gorgeous and she is due in 3 weeks! And she was such a trooper, willing to try all the poses we asked her to do-which included climbing up a sand dune.

I’ve only been back home for a few days, and I’m still dreaming of the gorgeous weather we had in Hawaii. Damian and I spent a week there doing a private workshop with Tammy Wahl and enjoying the warm weather. Tammy and Evan were absoluetly wonderful hosts, and we feel lucky have count them as our friends now. Tammy mentioned it began raining just as we left so I feel even more blessed by the wonderful week of weather we experienced there.  BTW, Tammy, I’m starting on your family photos and LOVE them! I’ll try to get some up on the blog and in your inbox soon. So without further ado…here are a couple of photos from beautiful Oahu Hawaii.
