Little Lilly on day 6.

Little Lilly on day 6.

Little Mia and Mason were so precious and sweet and I was so thrilled to be able to capture just how perfect and tiny they were at this age. They just wanted to be cuddled together and warm…precious!

More from our last trip to Florida. I have to say, this was by far the best family vacation we had ever been on. The area was quiet, the water was the most beautiful color I’d ever seen in Florida (and we’ve been many times), and the kids loved every minute of it. We’ve decided this was the first of many trips to this beautiful area.

How my “official” photo session with the kids ended.

Today I’m packing up my bags to head to California to teach for a few days. I’m so excited to be escaping the cold weather here for a bit. Even though it’s not supposed to be terribly warm there (by their standards), it’s relief from the freezing temps here in good old Indiana. And I’m happy I’ll be able to come back and share some new warm weather photographs on the blog, but for now here is another of my silly girl from last summer. I think this shoot is my favorite I’ve ever done with her…because she was so “Bella”.

For the photographers out there, this image was edited with my Summer Skies action set, specifically the Summer Pop and Blueberry Skies actions. We’ll be holding a sale starting tonight at 8pm EST. If you don’t receive our newsletter with the codes, all codes will be posted here or on the Actions Cart website so keep checking back.
Have a blessed weekend everyone!
This little sweetie’s mom has gorgeous red hair (go redheads!) and I really think her little boy may inherit it from her! I know as a redheaded mom I SO wanted one of my children to have red hair and fortunately I got mine. I think she will too! This little guy wasn’t quite a newborn when he came in to have his portraits done, but he was oh so good. Check out his adorable baby chunkiness-LOVED IT!

I just adore the 6-9 month age for shoots. Just check out this sweet boy to see why. He was so cute and easy going, and loved being outdoors. At this age, they are able to sit up well (but usually can’t take off yet) and are enthralled with the world around them-which makes for a perfect portrait session! And little A. was no exception.

This is the only mini session date we have planned for this Holiday season so reserve your spot soon!
I adore Eden’s Bouquet clothing for little girls and boys. The attention to detail, the vintage styling and of course amazing quality is all top notch. And it fits oh so wonderfully with my style of photography. So head on over to Eden’s Bouquet’s blog and enter the giveaway for your chance to own some of these treasures. And since a post isn’t a post witout a photo, my Bella in an Eden’s Bouquet dress.

Just take a peek at this beautiful little girl-how sweet is she! And she was such a good baby…she slept the session away and only woke up towards the end to tell momma that she was hungry. What a doll baby!

This sweet little girl was just too cute to handle. She arrived after a nearly one hour drive sound asleep and woke up for our session. Now, I have a little girl just one year older and I KNOW waking my Bella up from a car nap would have resulted in meltdown madness. But this little lady did so well, no crying at all! She needed her momma for a few cuddles in between shots for the first 15 minutes or so, but after that we all had so much fun. She loved picking the Queen Anne’s Lace and posing for my camera. We talked about how she thought grass in some of the spots we shot at could use a good mowing and how silly it was that a barn was totally empty. I had a blast with her!
