I was so swamped over the fall and holiday season that I never got to post some of my favorite sessions. So if you see a few fall posts mixed in with current ones, that would be why.

I just love these kiddos, I’ve made the trip down to Bedford every fall to shoot them and it’s so fun to watch them grow year after year. Even though it was cold and we were worried it might start raining, the session eneded up being great! And they were so sweet and cooperative in spite of how cold it was.

Another shoot from Australia. We took Jade’s friend Sam out for a quick session to see what we could get in full sun (which was awesome) and she was soo fun! Loved the way she worked the poses and put up with all of our crazy ideas. Thanks Sam!

I was able to shoot this sweet little guy just before I left for Australia and he was such a fun guy to photograph. His mom and dad brought him in to me within a couple days of bringing him home from the hospital where he had been born 8 weeks early. I love it when parents bring the babies in as soon as they can, they photograph so well when they are still sleepy and bend into all of those newborn poses. He was such a sweet, tiny little guy.

I can’t believe the fun I had with this shoot. I’m in Australia staying with Ainslie while Ali Hohn is here teaching and I am so thrilled with what I’m able to shoot now.

This mom was beyond gorgeous and she is due in 3 weeks! And she was such a trooper, willing to try all the poses we asked her to do-which included climbing up a sand dune.

I love days like this. It’s snowing and I love the cozy, huddled in feeling that snow days bring. Tonight we’ll have the fire going and have a nice family dinner together…what more could I ask for? Right now I’m plugging away at all of the Hawaii images while the snow is coming down here in good ‘ol Indiana, kind of ironic. And working on a new project that I’ve had in the works for a few weeks all the while listening to one of my favorite playlists. A perfect day!

I’ve only been back home for a few days, and I’m still dreaming of the gorgeous weather we had in Hawaii. Damian and I spent a week there doing a private workshop with Tammy Wahl and enjoying the warm weather. Tammy and Evan were absoluetly wonderful hosts, and we feel lucky have count them as our friends now. Tammy mentioned it began raining just as we left so I feel even more blessed by the wonderful week of weather we experienced there.  BTW, Tammy, I’m starting on your family photos and LOVE them!
