Being cool
This past week has been wild! October is always crazy for us, but this one has been more insane then usual. Damian burned his leg last week while trying to burn a brush pile. Don’t worry, he’ll be fine, but he’s had to take it easy. Which he never does like he should…grrr…why are men so stubborn (you know I love you, D!). And there’s our teaching trip to Australia and New Zealand in just over a week. I can’t believe we leave so soon! Whew! I’m excited to meet all of the photographers we’ll be working with and to see everything out there. Ok…now I’m starting to think I need to wrap this post up and get back to work.

I think you have a model on your hands! His hair has really grown out this summer, getting back to how it was prior to the incident. He is so striking and I was so happy to see some new photos. Just beautiful as always.

Wow Leah, these images of your son are amazing. The jacket is super cool and he really looks so grown up. I love them all, for different reasons but the last one is stunning. Oh and you are coming to Australia, how exciting. You will love it here for sure. If you come anywhere near Canberra, please give me a call. Wow, I’m excited for you.

I love this fisrt image of Garrett - the depth of field is superb and so perfectely accurate - I love how one hand and the twig and his gorgeous face/hair are in focus and the rest just dissolves away - stunning!
